I was under the impression that R3 melee with NK did comparable damage to a charged strike. I rarely use them and when I do, it is always charged, though I also have the patience for them to come to me, I don't chase kills with them. I also use the "useless" myofibrils too though so that might have skewed my impression. Patience is key to Nova Kniving. Barely comparable as it does far less damage than a charged shot, myofibrils are cool but i'd rather use sidearm mods or scanner precisions The most fun I have had with NK was as a M/1 Logi with stacked Myos (Complex, Enhanced and Basic for full effect) and stacked Complex Damps. I would scan down enemies and try to predict what corners they would come around. I had one match where I got four kills in rapid succession as reddots would come up the stairs and around the corner into the arms of my waiting NK. It was almost like they were coming singlefile wanting to die. I have to admit that this is probably the best memory I have of NK since it is really the only memory I have of NK kills I've gotten. I flank one shotted a Heavy that match too. I imagine they were a pissed bunch of reddots knowing that they were killed by someone who had nothing but NK for defense. Interstellar Murder of Crows 1673	Posted - 2014.02.16 23:47:00 - [4] - Quote @Bethhy I think the reason you can't hold a charge while running is because then people would end up stacking KinCats and Cardiac Regs with NK on a Minja and you'd mistake Dust for MW2 (I think that is the one with the Commando/Marathon combo, IDK though, I never really played any CoD that much).
